Long-term addiction needs long-term care

The Opposition New Democrats have criticized the province for failing to address the crystal meth problem by not putting more dollars into detox beds.
But Bob Hughes, with the groundbreaking Meth Kickers program in Kamloops, questions whether that's the answer.
"We're in no shortage provincially in terms of beds," he
said, speaking to the traditional short-term detox, which is five to seven days.
