View Full Version : Hiring the Parole and Probation Services firm in Dallas
rinoa1978 06-26-2003, 04:26 PM There's this agency in the Dallas area called Parole and Probation services. I heard that they helped a number of prisoners sucessfully get out when they came up for parole and they even helped inmates get "early" parole. I will hire the agency next month so my husband can possibly get an early parole. I was told by the agency that if everything goes well, my husband could be out by this time next year helping me make the final payments to the company. His orginal time that he comes up is 2005. Anyway, it's 2500 dollars for their services. I've done research on this, but I still want to know everything I can about this agency and possiblly get a list of other agencys that do the same thing.
Please email me with info

toi_ama 06-26-2003, 04:30 PM Do they have any references so you can check them out? That's a lot of money and I'd be careful because if he doesn't get out, you still have to pay the money. I'll be interested to see feedback on this.
Goose Bumps 06-26-2003, 06:17 PM Please let us all know about this service!!! Keep us notified about all that you find out, this is a very interesting service because they will let you pay on a payment plan.
amymarie 06-26-2003, 06:36 PM Let us know! I have never heard of this and hope it brings good things to you! Definitely check it out because from all I hear, the parole board has no rhyme or reason...
~cheenna~ 06-26-2003, 07:42 PM Be sure to check with the Better Business Bureau ... good luck ... keep us posted
mrsharris 06-26-2003, 08:33 PM Do you have their number or contact information? I would like to find out more about this program as I am in Dallas too.
rinoa1978 07-01-2003, 10:55 AM I am at school right now and I keep forgetting to bring that agency info with me. I promise I'll have that by tommorow.
Anyway, another good thing about this agency is they interview some of the parole members "personally" and they even allow a few of the inmate's family members talk with some of the parole members before the hearing. And also, the agency will keep representing them "until" they get out.

rinoa1978 07-08-2003, 01:27 PM I am hearing a lot of great things about this agency. I heard that they just got a inmate in minimun custody out on early parole. I am definantly hiring them now.
Trulykath 07-08-2003, 01:42 PM I talked to Bob, and he admits to the problems DWI offenders have in Texas; they simply do not get many paroled. He seems to think they might save Skip 8-10 months, but wants to see what happens with his Mandatory Review first. We have talked at length, and he's very honest and realistic about helping (read=he'll tell you if he thinks he can't).
I don't know that I'm hiring them, as they want the high end for Skip....$3500. We have a short sentence, and I think I'm rolling the dice that we may get lucky....this is Texas....so who knows??? Keep us posted on your progress...

rinoa1978 07-09-2003, 02:16 PM Hey kath. My honest opinion is you should save your money if he is about get out anyway. Their process can take almost a year depending on the case. Well, in my case, my hubby comes up for parole in 2005. There's a possibily that he can get out next year, if not have a great chance of getting out in 2005. I just want to make sure that he's not set off and gets out when he's suppose to or earlier than he's suppose to. But if he just had less then a year left, I wouldn't hire them. Maybe I would if it was just 500 bucks. Let me know how it turns out.
Samantha2000_15 07-12-2003, 09:44 PM $2500??? I wish I had that kind of money to spend!!! I don't think I want to mess w/ fate, guess if he has learned his lesson and is meant to get out soon, then he will get out, if not then I guess there is a lesson he hasn't learned yet.But if I had the money to do this, I probably would!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK to all of you who do!!!!!!

rinoa1978 07-17-2003, 02:06 PM Hey Samatha. I don't have $2500 bucks up front myself, that's what's why I'm on a payment plan. We had to pay $400 down, and then it's 175 a month for 12 months, that is if we don't pay it off by then. My mother-in-law and I actually hired that agency yesterday. It was is a very posh and professional suite in this 30 story building so I knew from that that it was laget. I felt very confident and pleased after talking with Bob Johnson face to face. He already set up an interview with one of the voting parole members. I am so excited about this. I'll keep everybody updated.
Kenny'sgirl 07-17-2003, 04:30 PM Well let me tell you guys, I am so happy I called these people. Bob Johnson was the nicest person I have talked to in a really long time. I hear so much s*** from friends and family members and this guy was positive and he seems to think he can really help us. Kenny is already married and his wife is a b****. He can't find her to get her to divorce him and it has been a real nightmare for us. The attorney that she hired wouldn't even speak to me, and she won't even pay him. I offered to pay and he still won't talk to me. They say he is one of the good ones, but I am getting a different impression about this whole thing. Bob Johnson told me his sucess rate for 2002 was 88%. He seems to think he can get a decision early so we know when he will get out, he gave me hope when all else was lost. Yes I told him you referred me Ms. Gordon. And thank you so much for your post. I would have never found out about these people if it hadn't been for you. God Bless you. Kenny's girl owe's you one. If I can ever return the favor let me know.:p :) :)
Texazfun 07-17-2003, 10:31 PM Hello, I have been researching to find aparole lawyer too. I found one in San Antonio who charges a total of $1500. period. Others I have called quoted me 2500-3500 to start. By the way is it really any use to have one? I wish I knew.
rinoa1978 07-20-2003, 04:03 PM No problem Kenny's girl!! You already repayed me because you remembered to tell Bob Johnson that I reffered you. It will actually help with my payments if I reffer someone.
I hope this agency works out for you. I saw first hand how professional Bob Johnson and the agency was. Now I would have told you differently if the agency was in some kind of shopping center next to Kroger's in casual enviornment.
As for you (Texasfun) I feel that hiring someone to help your loved with with parole is of "great" help. Especially for prisoners with aggrivated cases. They usaully set them off the first time, and I want to make sure that it won't happen with my husband.
rinoa1978 01-07-2004, 10:39 AM Just to give you all an update on how this is working out, I just found out that my husband was granted an early review with the parole board. This agency is doing something. I will find out how it went later on this month.
gigi v 01-07-2004, 06:00 PM THANKS FOR LETTING US KNOW. I HAVE BEEN KEEPING TABS FOR QUITE SOME TIME. LET ME KNOW NEXT MONTH I WILL BE WAITING TO HEAR.
