Does anyone know about lockdown status at Donovan. My husband will be delivered to the reception area in a few days. I would like to give him a heads up. It is his first time in prison unless you include his 90 day opt. at Chino which was really 60 days. Will he keep his same cdc # that he was issued at Chino? How long will he be in reception? Being he was at Chino and was basically classified there, I would think his info would be following him and in that case cut down his reception time. I just need a contact visit havent had one since August/2005. Thanks, bullittgirl:cool:

hi not sure if they are onlockdown. my son just transfered there last week. he called the next day but havent heard from him since. he was supose to call last night. if he doesnt call tonight then im going to call the prison to see what i can find out. he should only be in reception for a couple of weeks. yes he will keep his same cdc number. it doesnt seem like there are to many people at donavon. i have been trying to find out things but really no response. i will be looking forward to talking to you. at csaft we had a great support there. right now i feel lost with out them. some one always heard something. now im just sitting here wondering. when my son called he was shocked that he was able to use the phone, yard and even had day room. but still only had one hour visits behind the glass until he hits mainline again. i cant wait to see him. its been a while now.

Donsmom, hi, my husband is waiting for transfer to Donovan. We are very worried about him. This is his first time in prison (except for a 90 day opt. at chino) The judge gave him 3 years but he has 435 days credit so that should help. i will let you know when he gets to receiving. THERES A WEBSITE YOU CAN VISIT THAT WILL LET YOU KNOW IF VISITS ARE AS SCHEDULED, IT IS www.rjdvisiting.org (http://www.rjdvisiting.org), USUALLY THEY KEEP IT UPDATED....BUT RECEPTION CAN GO FOR AS LONG AS THEY WANNA KEEP HIM THERE, OR UNTIL HE IS ENDORSED SOMEWHERE...EVERYTHING STILL STAYS THE SAME NO MATTER WHAT PRISON, IF YOU WANNA FIND OUT ANYTHING, ITS BETTER FOR HIM TO GO TO HIS COUNSELOR, UNLESS YOUR HIS WIFE I THINK YOU CAN TALK TO HIS COUNSELOR DIRECTLY AND GET INFO.
