I have a few questions. My guy's PE date is 3/07. When do they start working on a parole plan? Does it take longer if they ask to parole to another state? He's in Arkansas and all his family and anyone he could parole out to lives in Missouri. He said he heard it would take a few months longer to go out of state???

Also, I know this has been covered before but can we send books to them? If so, do they have to come from the bookstore? What are the dos and don'ts? Can they have magazine subscriptions?

You can have books sent to them ONLY if they are from a bookstore, and they can have magazine subscriptions.

I think it just varies when they will start on the parole plan - I have questions about that myself, so as you're going through the process that would be great if you could share what you learn. My fiance paroles out later this year and I'm curious how all that works.
