MY BOYFRIEND WAS PAROLING TO A DIFFERENT COUNTY HERE IN CALI
LAST TIME HE WAS OUT , BUT HE WAS BUSTED IN MY COUNTY .
IS IT TRUE THAT HIS PAROLE WILL NOW BE TRANSFERED TO MY COUNTY AND NOT TO HIS PREVIOUS ONE ?
I WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS ONLY IF HE COMMITTED A FELONY IN A DIFFERENT COUNTY .
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY INFO
THANK YOU

In most cases, a person is paroled to the county of last legal residence regardless of where the felony occured. Just because he was caught in your county does not mean he will parole to your county. He will parole back to the county of his last legal residence.

my sister in law paroled to O.C.( but the felony charge was from Riverside) and lived with her boyfriend. She then got a violation for a traffic stop and got 8 months for it. She got out and married her boyfriend a couple days later. Her P.o. transfered her to Riverside county and said that it doesnt matter if her son and husband live in O.C. and was originally paroled there that her charge was from Riverside and thats were he's sending her. So now she lives in a halfway house and works and can only go to O.C. on the weekends to visit her family. So I guess it depends on your PO. This was 2 months ago.

dear cubana,
it sounds like your sis and my man have the same PO!! his violation was in riverside, but we live in san bernadino county. they told us the same thing. that because his original violation was in riverside, they would not parole him to where we live. which is dumb, because his old PO let him live out here (the old riverside PO), but we now have a new PO in riverside, and he wants him THERE!! which sucks cause we have no money to move out there. i widh we could find a way for him to stay out here when he gets out!! we too are getting married when he gets out, like the day or day after. i hope they don't make him leave me and our family

unfortunatly they can do what they want. But something I learned from his 2 po's is that I play the mad innocent wife with them and that seems to work for me. I act like I'm mad at him or that I feel that he deserves being on parole cuz he did mess up and that has worked for me. If you go against them or "" protect"" your man too much they seem to block you out. His po knows me real well and even gives me info that he shouldnt. I met him at his Parole hearing for his PV and acted mad when they gave him 10 months and not 12. He actually walked me out and said don't worry between me and you we will help him get straight dont worry too much. If you need anything call me any time.

i can tell you that i have been on parole from out of riv. 1&2 an trust me they cut you no slack. i had one agent off an on for 7 1/2 yrs only came close to giving them back this number one time. now don't misunderstand me i deserved going back but there was a couple of times i did do good an still they recommended that i stay on. the last agent was so far up my (you know what) that it was almost comical. after finally doing my last violation in 04, i moved to moreno valley, an even though i'm still on it but i'm on paper parole an htye can't hold longer than sept. this year. i max out. but mo val, sees me as no threat to society or to myself like before. if i had stayed in riv. 1 i would never had made it. 3/4's of those agents know me an i wouldnt have gotten any breaks what so ever. so yea riv. parole sucks!!!

my problem is that my b/f has 2 po's. neither of them will return my calls, and one of them actually went to see roy's x girlfriend to tell her everything that's up. i was like oh no he didn't. he wont even returnmy calls, but will drive an extra 30 miles past me out of his way to see her!!!! it's a big mess, and when i did talk to one of the po's he told me roy accepted 8 months, when he only accepted 6 months with half time. i dont know what's up with these po's. they are totally screwing up roys and mine life when we just started to do well! god i hope they parole himm oout here in san bernadino instead of moreno valley again

Ok, let me get this straight... since he "transferred" her that means that technically she paroled out of prison to her last legal residence which was in Orange County, but the P.O. sent her to Riverside? Did she go straight to Riverside after getting out, or he sent her there from Orange County? How old is her son? Is he a minor?

The problem may be with San Bernardino being what's called a "Closed County" Last I checked San Bernardino is always closed, so if they can shift parolees to another county they will. If his last P.O. let him live in SB County, then I'm assuming he was there on a transfer, and if he violated his parole that can cancel out the transfer, which means that he would have to return back to the county he originally paroled to. At some point did he ever have legal residence in Riverside or did he just commit a felony in Riverside.

she paroled to O.C. and was there for 14 months. Then got a Parole violation because she was driving with no license got 8 months and when she got out for the violation he sent her to Riverside. Her son is only 10.

Ok, I got it. Well, it's as I mentioned above. More than likely San Bernardino could be on "Closed" status. And if his residence at the time the crime was committed was in Riverside then naturally they will send him back there after the violation. And getting him back in SB will be difficult if the county is closed and/or he was there on transfer and violated parole. Even if it was open, his P.O. can still deny it. If that happens, his only other alternative is to try going to the supervising P.O., but that's only if he has a very good reason for wanting to transfer to San Bernardino, ie job, family reunification etc.
