My husband is getting out in 49 days. I am so excited, nervous, and anxious. When he was taken away, our daughter was only 3 months old, and now she is 1 1/2 years old. He can't wait to meet her, and she asks about daddy everytime the phone rings (that's the only contact they have had since he was taken away). I get my family back. I can't believe it. I remember saying, "its only a year until you come home," and now it is less that 2 months.

You know, you never know how precious things are until you almost loose them. Both he and I have learned eachothers worth over the past year, and you know what? We are actually GLAD he was locked up now. This past year has been a life changing chapter in our lives that I don't expect us to forget anytime soon.

Since we got married while he was in there, our honeymoon starts that day too. Good things are coming this way. We expect this year to be tough, but together with God on our side, we are ready for whatever this world throws at us. He is going to a halfway house that my friend runs when he first gets out, but he will still be with me and our baby girl everyday, and I know there's going to be so many happy tears the day he gets out, and most of them will be his.

Congratulations! 49 days!! Its going to fly by and he will be home with you and your daughter in no time. I am very sorry about Bootsy..I would be beside myself, out of my mind if my baby went missing. I hope you are able to find him.

Thanks everyone, and thank you about my cat. I just started a new semseter at school 2 days after he was missing, so I am trying not to feel that pain yet, but I miss him terribly. It is tough becaus I do tear up when my daughter starts calling him and patting her thigh to get him to come. Its so cute but so sad.

Soooo you're ready to start your countdown, huh? Well then I suppose you're ready to hear me tell you to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS!!! Do that for me, will ya? And be kind to yourself in preparation for the big day just around the corner. I wish you and your family all the best.

Somer, I am sooo glad to see you posting here!!! Your homecoming is only 4 days after mine.... So we will count down together!!:D I feel what you are saying about this all bringing you closer together. I feel the same way, I feel like even though the last 3 years (2 years in prison and one year of going to court) has been hard, painful, and crazy. It truly has made our marriage stronger than it has ever been over the last 10 years. I thank God everyday because even though I hate him being in prison and all the trials he will have to face when he gets out, I know that our marriage and love for each other is solid and unbreakable.

I wish you, and your family all the luck and love that you deserve and then some and you know if you ever need a friend I am just a click of the mouse away:) .....
