My husband called this morning to inform me that MCIH and the other prisons in Hagerstown will be on lock down beginning today thru Thursday to give the correctional officers a chance to pay their respects to their fallen comrade. This is NOT due to any incident, it is solely to allow them to pay their respects, so if you were expecting a call from your loved one and you don't receive it, this will be the reason.

I talked to my friend at MCI-J, he said the same thing. He was calling to say HI and BYE cause they might be on locked down for 2 or 3 days. They are not sure yet. So if you are visiting this week or weekend call first.

Same with the Baltimore prisons, I just got off the phone with my ex, he said they are in lockdown until Thursday also.

So will they take them off Thursday morning or thursday evening. I wanted to visit but i dont want to waste gas driving up.

Probably Thursday evening or Friday morning.

Jessup was on lock down too, but they're off now.

I got a call on 2/2 (Thursday) and he said the phones were backed up because everyone was trying to call home. He said he would try to call back but he didn't get to. I was expecting a call today but nothing, so who knows! LOL
