Well as of today Jason has 78 days until his EOS..or does he???? The quarantine will be lifted so he will be brought to court on 2/23 for a review hearing. By that time he will only have 55 days left or does he?? I have been so so worried about what the Judge is going to do, and I couldn't get it out of my head what that attorney said the judge could make Jason serve day for day and to give him 1K and he would take care of it. I remember an attorney that had dealt with Jason when he wrote all those bad checks (which he will still have to go to court for when he gets out) so I called him today. And boy do I feel better, we went over everything, all the orders, his time sheet, everything. he told me the Judge could NOT make Jason do day for day, he is already serving the time of his sentence. He said he could request that the ADOC take away Jason good time, but didn't see them approving it since Jason has been a model prisoner. He said the only thing the Judge could do is charge him with contempt. He told me to take his number with me to court, and if it looks like things are turning bad, have Jason request to reset the hearing until his attorney is present and he would take care of it for $300.00.But he felt like the Judge is just trying to make a show and throwing aroung his power. well hell let him, I don't care if he scares the hell out of Jason, or makes him look stupid, or even charges him with contempt. I just feel better knowing he may try to act like the all mighty, but he can't really do anything about it. So if all goes right my son will EOS on 4/19/06!!! Just wanted to share with all of you and as always thanks for letting me vent.Oh yeah, my Mom has now decided she wants to go to court, she told Jason yesterday that she was going to court, and if the Judge got pissy, she was going to ask to speak. Let's hope he doesn't piss off the old lady with her cane-haha
God Bless each and everyone of you,
Linda:thumbsup:

That is good news, Linda...I am glad you have a atty's number just in case and $300 sounds alot better than $1000...It won't be long and Jason will be home....

I just can't wait to get a big hug from him, even though after all the crap he's put me threw I should hit him. As usual thanks for the thoughts/prayers/support, I will keep you all posted.
God Bless
Linda
