Well, I finally got here to visit Craig and firstly let me say this: What a country! I love it here! Everyone is so friendly and the country itself is so beautiful. I'd live here in a flash. Anyway the visit was great. One of the guards was an asshole but the rest were really alright. I was so nervous I thought I'd pass out but we had a great time. When I left that day I told him I would'nt be able to come back and he was really disappointed, and then I went back the next day and it was even better. Now I miss him so much! And I'm in Seattle now and Craig is in Georgia, so I won't be seeing him before I go back to Australia. That visiting room is so sad! I was watching one couple they had their arms around each others shoulders walking around and around the visiting room, talking and talking and probably imagining they were in a park somewhere and it broke my heart. I was talking to one of the girls who was visiting her boyfriend and asking her how she did it. Y'all are so strong. Anyway, I'll be back when Craig gets out and I'll talk to y'all (I went to the South and now I can't stop saying Y'all)when I get back to Australia.

cobwebqueen.....glad you enjoyed the south! it's great you had such a lovely visit with your friend - i'm sure he couldn't get over the fact that you traveled so far to see him!!! have a safe trip back to the outback!

Yeah, he got a truely special visit from the other side of the world. Very few inmates can say that! :)
I'm very glad you are having a good trip around the U.S.
I would love to take a trip to Australia though! I talk to a bunch of guys down there that ride Jetskis and have lots of pictures. Very beautiful!

It's great to hear that your visit to the states was a good one!

Visitations can be a lil depressing. I can relate to the couple walking arm in arm. Luckily, at Lompoc, the visitation is outside and it really does seem like we are in a park.
