I was wondering if anyone could tell me how long it will take for my husband to stay at Kilby? I know its a processing place but they told me I could not have visitation with him until he gets moved to his permanent place.:( So if anyone has any ideas on how long it might take or where they might be taking him, we are from Dallas county, it would help out alot. I am new to all of this, so any advice will be great.

I think it depends on where he is going. My friend was only at kilby 3 and half weeks. Due to overcrowding and etc it might take longer.

Normally the stay at kilby is 3-4 weeks...but due to the overcrowding it could be longer.

Kenny has been thru Kilby several different times, once it took almost 4 weeks to get moved, but like other said it does vary..i would think 3 - 4 weeks would be the norm...
