:confused: HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT INMATES BEING RELEASED FROM CENTINELA. HAS ANYONE PICKED UP THIER LOVED ONE FROM THERE?
MY MAN TELLS ME THAT I HAVE TO PICK HIM UP FROM THE BUS STATION AND NOT THE PRISON.....ANYONE HERE ABOUT THIS??? HE GETS OUT IN A FEW WEEKS AND I CANT GET THROUGH TO THE PRISON TO GET INFO .

Counsler number is 760-337-7900 x 6307. Try calling, sometimes you can make arrangements to pick up at the prison but for that you have to get approval. Call them. Good Luck

how far is the bus station from the prison? I have never been there to visit my son but we will pick him up. Do you suggest we call his counselor and schedule to pick him up at the prison or just go to the bus station?

My advice would be just to pick him up at the station. making special arrangements can be a hassle and stressful for the inmate. The bus station is on State Street in El Centro. Its easy to find, and its small so you will see him right away.
