As he had done several times previously, Lalchoi escaped from prison, returned to his father's house and demanded money for heroin.
Pretending he was going to the bank to get the money, Thangzathang (who, like his son, uses only one name) visited the Gamnuam Christian Home and soon returned with four volunteer counsellors from the addiction centre.
