Some may have seen my previous post...we are now down to 66 days. His release day will be April 3rd since SCDOC releases on the first weekday of the month that he maxs out.

I still have not gotten a letter from him although he promised he would write when he got back to Broad River which happened on the 13th. 14 days straight with no word from him. It's very strange and now I am beginning to worry a little. :(

Dont worry I am sure that he is OKAY!!! Have you written him? Best wished to you and your beau!!! I am counting with ya girl!!

Oh, I have spoken withthe jail and he is fine according to them. THAT is why I am beginning to worry....

OK, update!!!!!!!!!!

I just got a letter from him and he is fine. The letter is postmarked January 26th, the SCDOC mail room stamps it when they receive it and it was stamped February 23rd...no not a typo on my end...their stamp is set to the wrong month apparantly.

So, here is the latest. When he got back from court on the afternoon of the 13th all his stuff was missing from his cell...his letters, pics, toothbrush, soap, books, everything from his locker. He says that he pretty much knew who did it so he confronted these two guys...he got it trouble for this and was sent to the hole for a week. He was out when he wrote the letter. He is still very pissed off.

All his stuff is gone...that is so wrong. It makes me very angry and sad at the same time.

He also wrote to tell me that he just found out from his counselor that he will be released on the 3rd because of SCDOC policy. As for his time credit they have reviwed that and denied it. They gave a reason which we both technically understand, but it just seems wrong. There are so many rules and conditions associated with jail/prison that it is just mind boggling.

Anyway the other good news I may have forgotten to mention is that when he is done with his sentence he will be done with probation and all that or maybe that happens with everyone who "maxs" out their sentence.

I wrote him a pretty serious letter that I mailed off Wednesday morning, and I'm really glad of that now. From some of the things he said in his letter I think my letter is coming at just the right time.

Some of you may know by reading various other posts of mine that he has been estranged from his family for a while now. Well he has written them as well....I was shocked, but really proud when I read that. I love him so much and I cannot wait for him to come home. Right now my happiness level is high and my anxiety level is low...check back in a week or so and we will review that!

Yeah, I'm glad too. Thinking about it now I realize what his counselor told me when I called was true...he was OK, but he never mentioned that he had been in the hole. :(

I hate that he has had such a rough time lately.

He also said that it seems time has slowed down since he came back from court on the 13th. I think he was putting a lot of faith in the fact that SCDOC would credit him the entire with the time he spent in county lock-up even though I cautioned him not to count on that. :(

With the SCDOC I always expect the worst and hope for the best. Even though he is the one in prison he still hasn't seemed to adopt this attitude. I don't know whether that is good or bad.:rolleyes:

Kobe16....thanks. I know it is soooo messed up that his stuff was stolen. I mean I can't imagine how hard that must be. I mean I can imagine coming home here and all my stuff being gone...I would be in shock, but I could call the police, call my friends and my insurance agent and have lots of help and support in a short amount of time. He asked his cellmate about it and of course found out who apparently was responsible. He went to the CO and explained what happened and was told...sorry, nothing I can do. So he confronted the guys then wound up in the hole for a week. What a messed up system.....

BUT.... thankfully he won't be there much longer! Marking another day off the calendar right now....

I am taking my vitamins every morning, and being good to myself. I spent a good portion of my day at the mall shopping. I got some very pretty new bras and panties. I also found a really great print that I am going to have framed for my bedroom. I also took a trip to the adulty naughty....I mean novelty store and picked up a few things. LOL

I also got my eyebrows waxed and my hair cut. It was a day all about moi. :)

Some days it is just so hard to believe, because like loveisdeeper said...it's the end of the nightmare. Really and truely.

I've been missing him like crazy today after getting my Valentine's Day card from him yesterday. It used to be that a card of letter could cause me to float on cloud nine for about a week, but not anymore. The happiness has a shelf-life of about 2-3 days. :(

Working, going to my Nar-Anon meetings every Saturday.

I start a sewing class on Monday night that will last for 6 weeks. I am recoveing a chair in my bedroom this weekend to match my new bedspread and if the weather holds out I am going to take my small dresser outside and paint it.

Just trying to stay busy.

I have had a stomach virus and have had trouble getting back to 100%, but I ate lunch today and feel fine so far. :)

I am still working on trying to tame my two new mice who I have named Sasha and Cinder. They are hilarious!

I went out last night with some friends from work and had a couple of drinks..it was fun. Tonight I will be staying in watching all my shows on the Sci-Fi channel!

I got all his clothes out of the storage bins in the closet last night and rewashed them so they will smell nice and fresh. I have that small dresser that I recently painted that I have emptied out for him to use in the bedroom.

Other than doing a little in-depth house cleaning the week he gets out I am pretty much set I think. I plan to do some grocery shopping the night before to stock up on some things that I know he likes.

I know from his most recent letter that he is more than ready to come home. :)

I keep coming up with small things I need to do. I was at Wal-Mart tonight and suddenly realized that I needed to buy coffee because he like to drink coffee in the mornings. I went ahead and got it right then so that I wouldn't forget later. :)

I have had the worst day today.

Stuff going on at work; this one particular person is driving us all crazy...ugh!

My mom is sick and I had to take her to the doctor; it took forever then we had to go get her Rx filled.

Because of how long it took I missed my sewing class...my 2nd one...:(

Getting back in the car from picking up the prescriptions I somehow (no clue how) hit my nose with the car door. It hurt like crazy and bled a little. I kept thinking "what can happen next?"

I wanted my guy here so badly tonight. When I got home he would have held me and ran his hands through my hair like he does to relax me when I'm upset. The closer his homecoming gets the more I miss him.

Been busy, busy today! :)

I got a great 4 page letter from my man yesterday. I'm going to take a minute to re-read it in a little while. I will tell you all some info about our homecoming plans maybe tomorrow. He got his "official" release papers this past week so all we are waiting for is March 31st to arrive...

It is 12 days, 3 hours, 40 minutes and 1 second until Friday, March 31, 2006

So we have 11 days left...I can't believe it!

I have been so busy with getting things ready around here and with life in general. My mom is slowly getting better and I got to make up my missed sewing class yesterday. We start our first project tomorrow night so later today I need to go pick out some fabric.

Anyway...

I got this great 4 page letter from my guy on Friday. He was talking about coming home and being excited and nervous at the same time. He has like a million things running through his mind. (Good to know it's not just me!) He must have said "Thank you" about 50 times in the letter about different things. He was sort of reminiscing about everything over the last year and even the week leading up to his arrest.

So, he is in Columbia which is about a 240 mile round trip from here. The original plan was for me to pick him up the day he got out, but he has decided that he wants to take the bus home. It seems sort of like a pride thing for him. A "He got himself put down there" and he is "getting himself home" kind of thing. I'm actually really kind of proud of him for doing that. :) He will call me from the bus-station when he gets here so that I can pick him up from there.

So that's the plan, and we now have...

I'm OK as long as I stay busy, but then I turn around and find more days have slipped by and his homecoming day is even closer...then I start to freak out a little...LOL

I'm scared ladies...that's just the honest truth, but I think everything is going to be OK. I love this man with all my heart and soul and he is my best friend to boot. :)

The letter I got from him on Friday was probably the most meaningful one I have received since he was arrested. He said so many things I didn't even realize that I needed to hear. He was also made himself very vunerable in this last letter which is such a huge thing for him to do; I am very proud of him.

Thanks everyone for hanging in here with me and helping me count down the days. There are so few now to go that it seems a little unreal. especially, since I started at like 90 days to begin with.

Tonight I stopped by a party supply store here in town and orderd some mylar "Welcome Home" balloons! He's going to love them...LOL

The only weird thing is that I feel kind of lost the last few days since I am not writing to him. I sent my last letter out to him on Tuesday. So at the moment we have zero, zip, nada contact since we don't do phone calls. That doesn't make me nervous or anxious or anything like that; it just feels a little weird. It will however make his homecoming even more special next week.

I feel so much love for him righ now. I guess it's been kind of interalized all these months, but now very soon I can express it each and every day with him physically here. It's very exciting!!

Wow! Less than a week now. :o

The happiness I feel right now is the happiness I used to feel whenever I saw him and whenever we were together. It's funny how I had kind of forgotten about that until the last few days.

How can you not love a man who makes you feel like this? LOL

It is so hard to believe even as I sit here looking at my calendar at work. When I started out at 90 days it seemed like a life-time away. Even with 30 days left it still seemed like a far-off event,but now it seems REAL! LOL

I am so excited that I could just about burst. I have been doing lots of little things to get ready, and this morning when I looked in the mirror I realized that one thing I totally forgot to do was have my eyebrows waxed this weekend!:eek: It just totally slipped my mind, but no worries, I can have it done on Wednesday or Thursday.

I had an OK day, but a long one.

I finished my first sewing project at class tonight and it turned out great! It's a 12x12 corded pillow in this gold home-dec fabric.

The passenger side window on my car slipped off the track (it's a power window) so I'm leaving it at the auto-body repair shop tomorrow morning and my boss is picking me up on his way into work. Worst case scenario I'm looking at $250. :(

I got my hair trimmed today and it feels a whole lot better. I have been letting it grow out over the past year. It's kind of at that awkward "can't do anything with it" stage.

The house needs some cleaning, but I can do that on Wednesday or Thursday. I'm still not stressing believe it or not, just looking so forward to seeing my man again. :D

Anway, I'm going to bed...night all...
