Jenny, Hopefully he will be transferred to a closer facility but keep in mind that this is the DOC and they tend to do whatever they want. They transferred my husband all the way up to Gouverneur when he was only about an hour away from NYC. I wish you both the best with the transfer.

Hi Ms G Well yes it is very good news that your husband to be will be getting transferred, but the only thing i say pary that he is transferred to fishkill because they have trailers i know cause that is where my husband was before they transferred him to Arthur kill and in Arthur Kill they have no trailers. So we are going through it right now,and if yours is sent to Fishkill they are good with their timing we had a trailer every two months like clock work. So i will keep me fingers crossed for you guys and good luck. lady.

well, he was denied his transfer which is all good because we ended up wanting him to stay put where he is safe and what he knows. We should have our first FRP in November December....and then Parole next year in April

Congrats with the great news! i have the same great news as well. I am feeling like you right now. my bf is going to a minium soon and there isnt much minium prisons period so i can only hope he goes to Butler. Keep us posted!!!
