Committee Judiciary

Clerk Phone Number: 517-373-3760

Location: Room 210, Farnum Building, 125 W. Allegan Street,
Lansing, MI 48933

Date: Tuesday, 1/31/2006

Time: 1:30 PM

Agenda: Presentation by the Department of Corrections regarding Prisoner Population Projections.

I found this, there is a hearing on Tuesday where the DOC is going to present the population projection. So maybe by the DOC showing this, it possibly could help the judiciary committee make a move on the TIS bills. One can only hope.

The MDOC makes this report every year about this time. Last year's written report is what I attached to my letter to the Judiciary Committee. I am anxious to see this year's report though. Hopefully, it will give us more ammunition to use with the Judiciary Committee.
