Maine Reclaims Unpaid Child Support Money From Some Plaintiffs' Awards in Strip-Search Suit
AUGUSTA, Maine Jan 24, 2006(AP) — Nearly 300 people who were awarded more than $450,000 in a class action lawsuit over jailhouse strip searches handed the money back to the state to pay child support and related debts.
