i go into fci bennettsville 2/21/06 i was give 41 months by the judge on feleon in poss of a firearm will i have to do all 41 or 85% and will drug class help with a time cut?

85% and I don't think you can get time off for ADAP with a gun charge . Good luck to you

i think tara's right...gun = violent, so they won't give you a program. but good luck, remember to stay focused...only your time is governed there...you can use your time wisely and come home to stay home. best of luck! let us know if you need somebody on a mail list, or whatever we can do.

RDAP will not get you any time off your sentence but you should still be eligible for the maximum halfway house time of 6 months.

As the others have written, you will only be eligible for good conduct time - as is everyone. As for RDAP, you can enroll, take the classes but that is all. A gun conviction, or a conviction of any offense that falls under the classification as a 'crime of violence' will prohibit you from the RDAP sentence reduction.
