Hi my name is tiffany and my husband is at wasco, well to make a long story short , i moved to illinois when he got busted. now we are trying to transfer his parole here. there is a number that you should call because the restituion fees he has need to paid in full before anything can get started. i don't know if your husband has any but this is the number tollfree1-888-562-5874 , they will probably tell you to talk to his councler or cc1(correctional councler) because he is the one who gets the paper work started for a transfer. call the number and they can explain in more deatils. I just spoke to someone and i can not remember her name but she was very helpfull. let me know how it turned out. hopes it helps.

Call the Shasta County office and find out who is PO will be and ask THEM how to transfer him. Shasta County will be happy to get rid of him and will be much more helpful than your county will! After all, they have enough parolees of their own and don't want to take any that they don't HAVE to take. The Shasta County office will have his info at least a month ahead of time. I live here, and I know a couple of the agents. PM me when you find out and I'll see if I can help you set up a game plan.

Ok here's the game plan. I did call the Shasta Co. office awhile ago and they don't want him to leave the Co. and the parole office in Modesto are not wanting any transfers. There not wanting to be cooperative with this and it's F***EN!!!!!! P- IN ME OFF:angry:. The funny thing is his crime was in Butte Co. Oroville Ca. So his restitution is due in that Co. and should be released back there but NOOOOO!!! Shasta won't let him be released anywhere. And I really rather him be released back to Redding then Oroville. Your help would be greatly appreciated at this time.
Thank you for your reply and I hope to here from you again soon..

Thank you for the response. I have not spoke with his councler yet but what my guy has mentioned to me is that his councler said to do is: he is better off waiting tell he gets out and talk to his parole officer him self. Also his counsler said it would make things alot eaiser for us if we get married before his release.
So that marrage issue is in effect at this time. He does owe restitution in Butte Co. not in Shasta Co. but yet Shasta Co. is wanting him in there Co. not Butte Co. So He and I are both confused on that issue. Shasta Co. is really being A-HOLES!!! about this whole transfer thing. WHYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will be giving the # you gave me a call ASAP! Thanks again for the advice.

Hey angel8181,
I am sorry here all this trouble you are having:( . About you and your man gettin' married it does make it easier, because that way you guys are considerd family. I have three kids with my husband so you would think that they would consider us family but no. We did get married b4 he left to prison. Hopefully you guys can tie the knot soon. I have heard of guys transferring out of prison to where ever their family was.One draw back is if you wait until he gets out to do the transfer he has to wait 3months b4 he can start the paperwork for the transfer. I had one parole officer tell me that I should not take no for an anwser. It is possible he seen it happen. Another thing, if he is still in RC his counclor might not be so willing to work on it since he will be sent to main line and will see another coucelor. Once he hits main line it should say somewhere in his paperwork that he wants to transfer so then him and his councelor can go from there. You can also call once he is at main line to find out who his councelor is and call him yourself. Once the counclor puts in the paper work it will get send to sacramento and that whole process takes anbout 45 days, then they would want to see where exactly he will live and talk to the parole office. I know that the whole process of finding out if he can transfer and when and all that can get very stressful. I feel you on that. Well girl I hope this kinda helps, and i hope it doesn't take to long to get married. If you find out anything else let me know, good luck!!! If you want to talk just PM me, have patience and God bless.

angel8181 Hi angel8181, if he commited a violation or a crime in Shasta county then maybe that is a reason. I can't say for sure since i don't know the reason why your man is in there in the first place. It is sad to say but my husband has been busted a few times not in prison this is his second time but he knows a lot about the system so he tells me what he knows. What i don't understand is why shast co. doesn't want him to leave the county or transfer out? And why isn't modesto co. accepting him? Did they give you a reason as to why they don't want him in their county? Guys that are violent offenders transfer. Hang in there girl, your first important step is to get married. Anything is possible, anything.

Thank you for your response. He is in for drug related issues, and grand theft auto, broke parole by leaving his co. to another. His crimes were in his Co. That is just a few that I can think of at this time. This is his 2nd time in. They are not giving me any reasons why they won't except him or let him leave. It's really frustrating but I'm not giving up. Never will for my man. Always got his back no matter what!!!

Respectfully,

Hi angel8181,
One reason could have maybe been the parole officer, you know maybe he just said okay leave him there, when he left his county. And as for the parole office not giving you any reason as to why they won't let him leave and being accepted is stupid. They have to give you a legitemet reason for all this. There is a certain criteria that I guess they have to meet, that is the parolees. And from what you are telling me he meets them, tell him to ask his councelor. One of the criteria I remember is that he has to have family there and like I said fiancee's don't count. SO keep up the faith you seem like a very strong person, cuz believe me I am also not giving up until my husband says it got approved. Atleast we are in the same boat, and you are not alone on trying to get your soon to be husband transfered. You will find the answers that you are looking for and like I said there is no reason for him not to be able to transfer. Sometimes we just have to go the extra mile but they are worth doing this for.
