Well we did it!!
The years of torchure are over!!
My hubby comes home Feb 7th or after.
I waited 11 years for him to come home.:rolleyes:
It feels like a movie or something.

Yes we have been together 11 years.Four of those as man and wife but we have never been together.I met him after he went in.It has been very hard at times raising my 2 sons after a divorce(married 21 years) with no family to help me.My sons are now adults.So we are looking forward to spending our golden years together.Its our year and our turn at happiness!!:)

Congratulations!!! Make sure you take your vitamins as the big day approaches. We want you at your best. By the way, I met my man while he was incarcerated and when he came home it was like a dream. I wish you both all the happiness in the world.

Good News!! I got a call from the office today that my hubby was approved to live here in the pretty mobile community I live in !!
One less hurdle to worry about.Now were just waiting for word
about his interstate parole and the home visit.:thumbsup: :D

Well the PO came for our home visit and she denied us.
I had my husband approved to come to my mobile
home community and the PO went to the office and stirred things up.
They pulled my husbands residency application here.
So he wont be coming here.The lady PO was a jerk and even asked to see our marriage lisense and asked how many hours I work a week.
He will probably go to a halfway house in Ohio.
I live in Michigan.So much for being a family in this state.
I may take my tax dollars to another state.Probably Ohio.
I dont know what to do with myself right now.I feel so helpless.

Sorry to hear that, why is it they do crap like this. I mean here he has a home to come home to and someone who will be supporting him in making the transition to the "free" world. The stats prove with family and friends supporting you the chances of being part of the revolving door are less. Oh wait thats right they want that door to keep on spinning. After all is it part of the big business called prison.

Awwwwwww sweety I am so sorry!!! I feel you, we just found out that Paul is going to have to go to a halfway house also. Thank heaven we are in the same community though so its not as going to be as much of a hardship as it will be for you two. I am so sorry. Hang in there and take it one day at a time ok?
