The victims unit is currently processing september 05 cases in case anybody was wondering

Yes, on the parole boards main number it says that they are backlogged approx. 6 months and I spoke with someone in the victims unit and they are working on '05 cases now.

Alabama is the only state in the nation where the parole board bears the responsibility and must by law identify, locate and notify victims. In all other 49 states, the victims are instructed to stay in touch with the parole board and keep their personal information up-to-date. Alabama parole system is grossly understaffed also. I don't suppose that comes as a surprise to anyone.

seems like that MIGHT be catching up some...in Feb 2005 they were 18 months behind...
