Hello, I originally signed up on here because my brother is in State for Life, now my fiance, the father of my children is in custody. last oct 04 he got stopped and had some meth on him, i guess he says it was just trash there wasnt much in the baggy but still any amt is a felony, so he got lucky as far as i am concerned they gave him pc1000 deferred entry of judgement, well he was doing fairly good at it, did all but like 7 classes, had his fine paid off, then stopped going, tried to get reinstated but something about the probabtion dept didnt date the letter or something the classes wouldnt take him, next thing i know he got picked up for a warrant because he didnt complete the classes. we have had no contact since he went in on the 7th because i cant get collect calls, from what i understand on the 23rd he goes back to court. for what they are calling "status pc1000" he told his mom at that time they will decide weather to enroll him in another program that if he messes up even once he goes to jail for 3 yrs, or i gues they just sentence him then. does anyone have any experience with this? any advice on what kind of time he may be looking at? I have three kids and dont know what to tell them. I dont have any clue what is usually sentenced or anything. any adcvice would be greatly appreciated.

Well I can tell you they are starting to crack down big time on anything to do with meth but obviously in that state they have some sense and put him in a program. The thing about these programs though is that you have to commit 100% or you basically screw yourself in the end. The best thing for him is to not make excuses and be really honest and try to get back into the program. Right now his fate is completely in the judges hands. I honestly cant tell you much more than that except that I hope he does the right thing when he gets a second chance. He wont get many second chances and he had best make it right if he gets it. If you can right to him you should really tell him this because the bottom line is it doesnt matter how much was in the bag or in him, he was doing meth and he messed up and has to make changes. That is what the program is there to teach him and he either gets with the program and comes home to his family or he spends the rest of his life messed up brainwise and in prison.
I wish you and all your family the best and I hope he realizes how he needs to be in order to be your husband and a father to your kids.

Hugs,
