Inmate found dead in jail cell

A 43-year-old man arrested in November died Friday at the Tuolumne County Jail.
He was served dinner in his cell — where he was housed alone — at 4:30 p.m., said Sheriff's Sgt. Matt Zelinsky. When the jail staff went to pick up his food tray a half-hour later, he was unresponsive, sitting on his cot.
