So, I have 5 credit hours of electives to take to finish this master's degree (FINALLY!!). Not wanting to travel to another site across the state, I decided to take whatever they are offering at the campus near home. Yep - Sex Therapy!!! It's a trip! Not what I'd expected (although I have to admit that I didn't know WHAT to expect!) but very educational and informative. It is pretty clinical, even though we have to watch those "instructional" films you've all heard about. And yes, the class is coed. We have alot of research to read too, and as usual it's pretty boring.... "Causal Attribution for Coital Orgasm Scale", etc. The first night we had to break into pairs and do sex histories on each other, and my partner just happened to be the professor I had for the art therapy class! "Excuse me Dr. Lieber, can you tell me exactly when you started masturbating and how you went about it?"

:) Congratulations!! Most colleges offer "human Sexuality" classes, as part of psychology or sociology!!

It is very educational and informative! I once took a course like that.

It is clinical, and not techniques or porn, or anything weird!

It also helps in being more comfortable in talking about sex, and being at ease with the topic!!

You go Girl!! Remember, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas---in other words, dont entirely spill your guts!!

Congratulations on obtaining your Master's Degree!!

I am taking "Sexuality and Society" this semester. It is a graduate level Sociology course. Our first day was pretty similar to yours Jacks_Tracy. We played a game where two folks had to leave the room while the rest of us made up a fantasy. When thy returned to the room they had to ask only "yes or no" questions and try to guess what the fantasy was. It was so wild!!! These guys were asking all kinds of questions about S&M, masterbation and dungeons! This was just Day 1...this is going to be one wild ride!!!
