Last year sweetie and I should have gone to the Daytona 500. We didn't because it was a bad time for us. This year, its the perfect time... and we have about a month left before we take off from Rhode Island.
We will be driving down there on Thursday the 17th of February. Driving straight thru. We plan on taking about 24 hours to get there... No time for scenic routes... we just wanna get there and get it over with (it would have cost us 1000 bucks to fly).
Our weekend is booked with races, and visiting with his buddy who moved down there last year. Then we will have Monday-Saturday in Disney.
I have been online doing lots of research and planning for this trip. Its exhausting! I've never been to Orlando, and I wanna of course see it all in one week... tho I know thats impossible.
Any advice for traveling to Disney? No kids, just us 2 and another couple.
Any suggestions of what to do? What not to do???
