Hey ladies, I just had to share with you all that I finally went to visit my guy.:D It was absolutely great...I dont think I've been that nervous in years. He looked sooooo handsome and he even smelled good....i wonder how that happened?:rolleyes: anyway, it was totally worth the 4 hour drive to see him . We made each other laugh the entire visit. it was nice to finally feel like this isnt all a fantasy, but it is a real thing with real feeling attached. I dont know if any of you ever feel like that, but sometimes it seems like I have this profound connection with the letters and not the actual person, but this visit proved that the connection is with the person and it isnt all in my head.
anyway I just wanted to share, thanks everyone for listening.

Aww girl, that's so cute. So when did you go to visit? Did you take any pictures....if so please do share. :) It's such a wonderful feeling when you have a great visit. It's as if nothing else in the world mattered at that time except you & him am I right? :p Oh yeah, when my man would come out to our visit smelling good he would laugh because I'd tell him, "well thank god I don't have a penis or else everyone would know how I'm feeling right now!" lol :haha: So when you going back girl....you should go on the 28th so you can have dinner with all of us...think about it! :thumbsup:

it was exactly like that, I really didnt care about anything else for those few hours we were together. I went down on the 7th...he really wanted to take pictures, but I didnt because I didnt like the way my hair looked that day. So, next visit we will take pictures...if its a good hair day. I dont think I can make it on the 28th, although it sounds like soooo much fun, but hopefully it wont be the last time you all get together.

I visited on the west side, but guess what??? I stood in line for over a hour on the east side by accident....and even though I asked if this was for west side visiting the lady I asked said yes and no one else in line around me said anything, until I got to the front of the line and I overheard the CO tell another lady she was at the wrong spot. So I wasted an hour or more and took up precious space in line for someone who was really supposed to be there....crazy!!!

Girl, I am glad you had a great visit!!!! I love when my man comes out smelling all good. Once I said "Honey, you smell good what is that?" He said " Baby powder" I cracked up because as a kid my mom would pour that stuff on me and it never smell as good as he does. Well hope to meeet you soon!!

Chueysgirl: Like Lisa said..if any of us were there, we wouldve helped! Some people sure dont extend that helping hand though! My very first day there at CMC I was so lost. I went up to one of the ladies in the parking lot and asked her to school me alittle on how it works there. She purposefully gave me some bogus info! Lisa, remember when everyone had to run to the line when the CO came out the parking lot? Well she told me that when the CO came out.. not to get into that line because first timers had to get into another line. When I saw that she totally lied to me.. I was so mad and didnt understand how someone could be so mean! Next visit these little legs got me to the front of the line and the CO yelled at her for running and made her go to the end!!! HA HA! I still see her there.. THAT MEAN B!tch! Thats why I always go out of my way to help someone who needs it. You could always tell when there is a new face.. im sorry no one helped you. It feels so crappy!

That happened to me when I first went to visit. I was on the East side and stood in line for a few minutes and then I asked a lady in front of me and she told me. There are some rude ladies there that do not care and forget that once up on a time they needed someone's help because they didn't know themselves. I have had a few like that in line with me on the West side as well when I finally left the East side and went to the West side. :( I am like Claudia, I try and help anyone who looks like they need it or when they ask I try my best to give them an answer or help get it.
