Today is my first day on this site, I was trying to get info regardin North Kern State Prison. Im not too sure how to get up there from Lancaster or even know where that is exactly. My boyfriend just went there last week.

You should introduce yourself at some point in that forum and you will get lots of support there as well as meet many in the same situation as you. Go west on Ave J to 60th st w. and make a right, continue straight until you hit ave d (this turns into hwy 138), your gonna go about 40 miles till you hit the 5, it will let you out near gorman, continue on the 5 north until you hit the 99. i do not remeber the off ramp but it will say the prisons name. good luck it is very easy to find. i hope you know there is two NKSP's

the off ramp is cecil avenue there is north kern state prison and kern valley state prison they are right across the street from each other any questions i'll try my best to answer for you

Hello, I was going to give you the exact same info. I am from La, Ca...I have my husband in CCI but know about the Delano institution, because ALOT of inmates from CCI are being transfered.
