I have 2 felonies back from 1995, both were for fraud, and bad checks. Since then I have had mistemenors, for driving on a suspended drivers licence, and one petty theft. I am no danger to the institution, and the county where I live approved me to visit when he was here. Whats the chances of getting approved, I'm waiting but I should hear something probably soon, its been about a month.

That would be correct. No ex-felons,parolees, wanted folks, or people on probation w/o permission from the probation officer, and final approval of the Warden or designee.

Thank you for the answer but, when I sent all my information to the visiting dept, I also included a letter to the warden, pleading my desire and need to see my boyfriend. Is there a chance she will grant me permission? I am only on court probation. Also, if denied, what if I appeal, whats the chances then, and how long could it take?

There's always a chance, but honestly, I don't see it happening. So many people have been denied for less. And quite frankly, the facility doesn't really care what YOU need. Harsh, but true.

No that is not true, I am a felon convicted of burglary, as of last may. I got approved to see my boyfriend. I had to write a good letter to the warden explaining that we were not partners in crime. Also I had to get a letter from my probation officer and get a court docket about my case. I sent that along with the cdc form 106 and I actually got approved before anyone.

You need to get the dispostion of all your cases and if you are currently on probation get written permisison from the probation officer. make sure you get certified copies of all cases from the court house. get a new visiting app. and submit it to the sgt of visiting and / the warden it will be his final approvel if they will let you into visiting and it may take a few;s longer let the sgt of visiting know you are sending in the froms and supporting documents send them certfired mail and request singture return just to insure they dont lose your stuff. Good luck.. I cant visit any prison so it is always nice to have someone be an exception to rule.. Jewls
