Ok well I have been just not dealing with this last letter, honestly I am not really ready to deal with it just yet and most likely never will be. My pal asked me to give him my phone number so he can be sure and call me when he gets a date. WTF that is not the reason I want a phone call. Honeslty I am still a little freaked about it, I am suposed to be strong and be a friend so what kind of friend am I being I can't ignore it, of course this will not go away he is on the Row.... So here I sit wondering how exactly to respond..... I know I will write him but I am having a little difficulty with it just this minute..... I got the letter friday .... so I need to respond....

Just write back and be honest!
Tell him what you are feeling and share with him your fears.
Being a friend means give and take and if you weren't open with him he would be upset.
Truth is not a bad thing and when you have a frienship based on honesty that friendship will continue to grow and flourish.
