hello my name is bere and I am in mexico, my husband in in arizona state prison complex-kingman i havent talk to him for 3 weeks and im really worry he always calls me for collet calls like 2 or 3 times at week, the last time that this happened ( that he didn`t call for a week) he got an oparation so thats why im really worry, i already call to the ASP-kingman but nobody told me anything about him, and is really difficult to me, i need to know what is going on with him, im desesperate so please somebody help me, i don`t to speak english very well so maybe thats why nobody in the prison when i called told me nothing. My only suggestion is to write him alot of letters and send him money. He can use the money to buy stamps, paper, amnd envelopes. Have you called the medical unit in Kingman? ask for the medical staff and then ask them if there is anything going on with his health...they may not tell you anything over the phone untl he gives them permission to. Just keep the communication going and dont give up, keep calling until someone tells you what is going on. Call the deputy warden of the unit he is at and ask him/her if he is still there, or what the reason may be that you havent written or gotten a phone call.

Kingman is a Private Prison for DUI'S that is all that is housed their. My Hubbie just went there last week from Douglas, I went to visit him and it's very low key, and new, it opened about a 1 1/2 years ago. Call that number again and ask for extension 201 you will get a person in visitation and they can help you. Also Arizona has a inmate data search website ( do a search and type in inmate data search arizona) and put his ADC # in, you have access to all of his information. At least you can see if he got in trouble or was moved again. Hope this helps. 7 months until my baby comes home!

Besides the Kingman Private Prison there is also a Jail in Kingman that is overcrowded. My son is being transferred there from Purgatory in Utah. The Private Prison is also for drug abusers and is difficult to get into.

DUI's is what this prison was built for but that is no longer the case. Many (most) prisons in Az are private for 5 years or less then turned over to the state.

Well I'm looking at a Manuel Fisher here on the AZDOC website and it says he killed his number last June.

Manuel Fisher was released 6/9/07. He was in a Private Facility in Kingman.
