I was just wondering about obtaining the GED in prison. Does it actually say its from the Federal Prison on it?

It should be like a GED that is earned on the outside...it should say ________ High School Diploma, ex. mine says Maryland High School Diploma

I think most GED's will say that they are from that State Department of Education. In New York, I'm quite sure that's what it would say. There are still some states that say where the GED was obtained (jail, name of school, etc.) but I think you're okay in NY.

Just wanting to know how to get my DSGB's GED information and how to enroll does the prison offer all the paperwork or do we do it from out here and how much do the classes cost?? Help me please Our Twins have'nt seen their Daddy since they were 5 months old and that was through the glass actually to feel his touch they were 1 month to the day he was arrested , they are now 19 months old. The prison probably offers free classes and free testing whenever he's ready. I'd call the educational person there to find out for sure. Books are about $17 and sometimes you have to buy them for a class, otherwise the "cost" is mental stamina!
