Vince is a native houstonian from playing football for Madison highschool and then went to University of Texas where he played since 2003. His stats since the beginning have been nothing but impressive. And if he couldn't have started off the year right .. He lead the Longhorns to their first national champsionship title in 36 years ..

He has now opted to go into the NFL Draft .. With the Texans having first go .. Houstonians are hoping they choose smart and bring their native son back home to play.

I sure hope that he come here and maybe we can start to see some changes with a new coach and QB .

I'm just glad he's graduating, and going on to the NFL, OU won't have to worry with him next year.:p
All kidding aside, he was phenomenal in the national championship game, and I believe he's a class act all the way. I wish him all the success in the world.

Young announced Sunday he'll skip his senior season to enter the NFL draft, taking the leap many expected after leading the Longhorns to a 41-38 victory over Southern California for Texas' first national title in 36 years.

"It's been a really fun ride. It's been really beautiful, and I'll cherish my memories for the rest of my life," Young said at a campus news conference to announce his decision.

"I feel like I accomplished everything I wanted to accomplish in college," Young said.

I agree .. he did play an phenomenal game.. His mom said that he will graduate but didnt go into specifics .. maybe he willl take summer and online classes .. I wish him all the best
