My name is Tom. My baby, Thea, is in a TX prison. I live in TN. We are working on proxy marriage now. What I want to do is find a job and move to be near her. Has anyone moved to be near his or her sweetie? Thea is in for a long time (7 more years till first parole). It's such a long drive and I spend so much on hotels that I see moving as the best long term solution. Thea is the only woman who has ever loved me, so leaving her is NEVER an option. I'm looking for work in Waco area. I already know about TX Workforce Centers. I'm surfing 'net looking for companies in area. Anyone have any suggestions? You share your story, and I'll be thrilled to share mine. Loving someone is the greatest thing you'll ever do in life.

Tom,
Welcome to Texas!! HA most here will tell you to RUN from Texas but Oh well!
Waco area I believe still have some oilfield jobs going on down that way. The cost of living down there isn't to bad from what I hear. I'm in the Dallas area. I have a few friends down that way and will see if they know anything. What kinda work are you looking for?
Talk to you soon
Renee Good Luck

Good to hear from you, Renee. Thea has already warned me about TX, but I love her too much to stay away. I've got experience in printing, manufacturing, construction, and retail sales. Any good job that pays at least 10 an hour will do. Look forward to hearing from you. You take care!

I was born and raised in Waco, Texas. I now live in Michigan for the last 2 years, but I could tell you most anything you need to know about the Waco area. Waco is a really nice city with a bad reputation for the David Koresh situation. Again, it's a nice place to live, my father and extended family still reside there. Can't say I want to move back, because Florida is where my heart is (love you Nathan!) OK, if you need anything, just PM me or email me!
Hugs from the Bug!
