PLEASE HELP MY HUSBAND IS GOING TO BE A FIRST TIMER AND I GUESS SO AM I:) BUT I'M NOT SURE ABOUT MAIL, PACKEGES, WHERE THEY ARE SENDING PEOPLE COMING OUT OF THE BAY AREA. RELEASE DATES- WHAT DO THEY DO WITH SHORT TIMERS WHO HAVE MEDICAL PROBLEMS? HE HAS ONLY LESS THAN 6MO TO DO(HOPEFULLY!!!)

This is also my first time and his first time dealing with the State Prison System.......He was transfered last tuesday to CCI......and I would like to know all there is about that place if anyone could help me I am new to all of this and am worried and don't know anything......so if anyone could give me any info or advice it would be greatly appreciated......

Where Did They Send Him To?

once he leave county he will go to a reception center and there he will get to choose 3 prison which he might like to go to. doesnt mean he will get one of those but it seems like they do try to get them there. packages cant be mailed until he hits mainline. as far as the other things all prison have different rules on what you can send. so its just a sit and wait. i know you can send money orders. its best to put the most you can now before he hits main line then the state will take 44%. when he gets to reception he will be able to buy more than county. but do this now or the state will make money.
