I can't take this anymore. Can it get any harder? It's been 2 years with 2 more to go. I used to live 2 hours away from him and saw him all the time but I recently moved to NC and when I did go for Xmas I left our son's birth certificate here so I couldn't go see him. I'm such an idiot!!!!!!! I find it hard to even write letters because I feel like "Is this really worth it?" "Would he be doing this for ME?" I don't even know if I feel like being with him when he gets out. It's taking it's toll on me. I love him so much and my 3 year old asks about him everyday. My life feels so lost without him-I miss every little thing-I really miss fighting with him-lol- He is scheduled to get out 10/08 but he can get conditional realease-what does that mean and how long will it take? Thanks for letting me spill my heart-I really needed to get it out!!

Thank you guys so much-it's so nice to have someone who knows what I'm going through. Just one question-what does it mean "if he doesn't get into any fights his CR date also counts towards good time"? Does that mean he will get out earlier than his CR date?

Some days are easier then others when we don't have our loved ones home where we wish more than anything that they could be, but I think if you try taking things one day at a time, maybe it won't feel so overwhelming, and as haswtch posted above, if you try to stick with PTO for awhile, i too really believe that you are going to find a ton of support, and many wonderful people out there that also have days where they are feeling just as uncertain as you are feeling today. I will keep you in my prayers. Try to hang in there, okay.

I know that it can be really hard sometimes but you have to stay strong. Just remember that love can conquer all things. The longer you are apart the more special your love will be once you're together.

i go through the same things sometimes. my husband was just transfered to collins monday feb 6 and i have no way to get there unless i take a bus and thats hard with 3 kids...he called today but didnt seem like himself and sometimes i get frustrated but i got to remember god has better plans for us and trust and believe in his strength andpower..
