I checked in here today and things were quiet. Too quiet. Then it hit me that all you ladies were at visitation! Duh! I don't go see mine on weekends since he is still in regional. I let his family go then. Since I am further away, I request special visits and I will go see him Monday. Sooooo.......

my visit yesterday was real good
i took our lil girl together and one of my nieces
we ate and ate and talked
all day yesterday was good
we talked many times and i got to see my Skins win (he don't like the redskins)
anyway yesterday was good and today sucked but
all i can do is continue to hold strong its almost over

I didnt visit my husband today, but we did spend new years weekend together. the visits were awesome. too short though. i wish i could spend more time with him, i drive 10 hours form CT to see him for an hour visit. i had 2 visits last year for 3 hours each, when he reuested the extended for me again, the man told him Sorry for your wifes luck, your allowed 2 extended visits per year....ughhhhhhh that hurts!

Oh man does that bite!!! My heart goes out to you. I almost dread his being assigned into the DOC because I know that is coming. Although I might trade the three hours I had today through the glass for an hour of contact. I sure need to hug that man!

But 10 hours driving! You are awesome!

yes it does suck, but I go to visit him once or twice a month, so i guess I cant complain other then the 20 hours of driving the hotel costs, gas, etc. but It is almost over, I just wish they would let me stay alittle longer. One time there was a girl standing in line and she said whats that form I said its my extended visit, she was so angry she caused a fight with the guards and told them why should I get special treatment, and blah blah. I tried to be nice and tell her iM from CT and she turned to me and with a dead of kill look in her eyes said... "big deal, Move closer" :( I told her if it was that easy I would be there. Kids you know they have to have a say in life.
We should earn 2 more visits starting this Feb 1st. Pray for it.

You girls are lucky that you get too see your man. I have not seen my husband since July and probably wont get to see him until june or july when we move. It sucks because it is so expensive to make the trip out there usually costs about $700. But I am really looking forward to being able to see him when I want to!:thumbsup:
