I tried to wait till I only had 60 days to start my count down thread...BUT I CAN'T I AM JUST TOO EXCITED!:D

I do want to say thanks to everyone on PTO!!! This site is great and I am so glad I found it. I don't have a computer at home so I get on when I can at work... If I had a computer at home I would probably spend every second I was home on PTO... :)

Okay, I had to share this really fast before I left work. Every year Shane and I go to this lake with a bunch of friends in March, they have a fishing tournament and we just all hang out and have a great time, we have done this for 10 years. (his sentence is 2 years flat and as you all know 64 days and a wake up left) we had this trip the week before he was sentenced and sent to prison in 2004 (never thought he would actually do any time at all)... We missed going 3/2005 (I did not even attempt to go without him because that is something we do together and did not want to be a 3rd wheel with all the couples) This year everyone put off the trip to the last week in March which is the weekend after Shane comes home to make sure he is able to go.. AWWWW, Shane is soooo excited and happy they all wanted him to be there that they put it off like 3 weeks just for us... Anyways, I am already making sure we have everything we will need ready for the trip...I already called and made a reservation for our cabin at the camp we stay at and everything. ANYWAYS, short story long......lol....

I got a email from a friend asking what Cabin # Shane and I will be staying in because she wanted to book one close to ours for her and her husband... OMG... It felt sooo crazy for someone to ask about plans that involve the both of us!!! Reality just really hit me in the face!!! My heart skipped a beat and then just started racing!!! WOW... I am leaving work now to go to the gym, I think that gave me enough energy to run instead of walk today and I think I can probably do double... lol.... :D :D :D I can not get this smile to go away!!!:D :D

OMG!!! IT IS MARCH 1ST!!!! 15 AND A WAKE UP!!! HE WILL BE HOME THIS MONTH!! :eek: Time is really closing in! I can not wait!! :D My parents came down to visit me and they are staying till Shane gets home so they can see him. We are having a big dinner for him the day he comes home. I am cooking 2 brisqets, BBQ chicken, pork chops and lots of all his favorite side dishes and deserts. There is gonna be about 50 people at my house. :eek: Of course he should be out no later than 10am and everyone is not gonna be there till 6:30 p.m so we are gonna stay away till then and have some alone time....I can not wait for him to be at home with me.. I have alot to do over the next 15 days, but at least I will be busy so it don't drag by... I can not believe this day is finally gonna be here!!! MY BABY WILL BE HOME THIS MONTH!!! Time is really going by fast!!:thumbsup: We had a great visit this week.. He is so excited about coming home.. :p We both are!! :yes: That is all we could talk about Saturday!! We could not even have a normal conversation because I kept saying OMG I can't believe your coming home!! :haha: There is a guard where he is that is very nice, he is a older man and he has been counting the visits down with us..lol.. he is so nice this week he said so only one more visit after today huh.. OMG!! :eek: 9 DAYS AND A WAKE UP!!! :D I never thought this day would come!!! Last night I went though our dresser and closet and washed all his clothes, folded, ironed, and hung then all back up so they would be fresh since they have been hanging in the closet and sitting in the dresser for 2 years now... I allso chunked some things that was really not good or that I knew was just way to big on him... I have bought him some new stuff so I put up all that and organized it really good. I cleaned our room from top to bottom... That was the only room in the house that I had not did a really good cleaning on so I am all ready for him to come home! I really have not picked anything for me to wear to pick him up in yet... I just have not thought about it..lol... :D I will probably go buy something new... heck I deserve it.. Someone had asked me had I bought a sexy new nightie for our first night... I said why? its not gonna stay on long if I ever get to put it on..lol... but I am gonna go shopping this weekend and get that and probably a new out fit to wear on that Friday to pick him up.. We are having a home coming party for him/cook out on that night since it is Friday. I am just ready for him to come home! His sister is getting married just a month after he comes home and he don't know it yet but her fiance wants him to be his best man... They are waiting till he comes home to ask him, so I am sure that will make him feel really good. I am on cloud nine, and I am going about 100 miles an hour. I did not get to sleep till about 2 am this morning and then had to get up and come to work... oh well, soon I will be able to sleep in his arms... Okay, I will stop my rambling I am just sooooo happy!!! 9 days and a wake up!!! 1 more TDCJ visit!! Yesterday I put 75.00 on his books and I always do it at the same store and it felt good to tell the lady that would be my last time doing that!! I not only have the people here on PTO and family counting but also the lady at the cash place I put the money on his books and the lady at my local post office because I go in there everyday to mail letters and she always ask how much longer!!! I truly feel like I am in another world! This will be my last weekend to spend alone! Next weekend is gonna be wonderful!!! Just being with him and being able to do whatever we want!! :p

I am so happy and so excited. I am kinda nervouse about our first night together... :o I know I shouldn't be because I mean we have been married 10 years, 8 before he was locked up....but NO ONE has even seen me naked in 2 years :eek: LOL... I know I will get over that as soon as we are together because after 10 years of marriage and 16 years of friendship, that man still makes me go week at the knees just by the touch of his hand:D ...

Anyways, I will stop being so moooshy... I have been awake till at least 2am every night this week :eek: I just lay there and think of what all we are gonna do and say to each other and how it will all be!! Not much longer now to wait because this time next week we will be acting out all our plans that we have had over the last 2 years!!:p I am so ready! :D

OMG!!! :eek: 3 DAYS AND A WAKE UP!!!:D Okay, so I am down to 0 visits!! This Friday I will be making my final trip and he will be coming home with me!! I can not wait... On Saturday at our visit, he was soooo happy!! He came in smiling from ear to ear and holding up one hand saying 5 days!! lol.. he is so crazy!!:p Everyone from the CO's, the chaplin and the inmates was telling me by and that they was gonna miss us both. :rolleyes: Anyways, one of his friends that he has made while he was there was in visitation with his wife, we got there at the same time so when we was leaving I told Shane I will see you on Friday... :D and he turned around and grabbed his friends shoulders and said... did you hear that? she said she would see me on Friday!!! NOT SATURDAY!!!!:D We all started laughing! :p His friend gets out next month, so he is really happy too and I am happy for him and his wife... He has been in 6 years :eek: Anyways, it was a great visit, we talked about our plans and what we wanted to do over the weekend. It was really great and it made it even better knowing it was our last weekend to be alone!! :p I do want to tell everyone here that I love you ALL you have all touched my life and made it better by knowing you. You are all very sweet, loving and caring people and have really been an inspiration and help to me... THIS IS NOT GOOD BYE!! Well, I am picking him up Friday morning and we are gonna spend the day alone and then we are having a big dinner with lots of friends and family Friday evening because everyone is dying to see him.... :D Saturday we are probably gonna go to the lake and take the boat out for a little while and then Saturday night we are going out to dinner (Texas road house) and I think a comedy show with some good friends of ours. Sunday we will be going to church and just trying to relax and enjoy each other... The next weekend we are going to Caddo Lake and spending 4 nights in a cabin. We do that every year with a bunch of friends and we always do it the first weekend in March but they put it off till 3/24 so that he could be there :D I can not wait!! Not much longer for you either!! Hang in there girl! :thumbsup:

Yes it is kinda crazy, I never thought I would say I would miss someone at TDC, but the people at the unit he is currently on are really nice people and they have encourged me and my husband all the way from the Chaplin and CO's down to allot of the inmates there... 2 DAYS & A WAKE UP! WOOO HOOO!!! :dance: :dance:
Yesterday, I went to the store and bought some banner paper and paint and make a sign that is like 3ft tall and 8ft long that says WELCOME HOME SHANE!!! My sisters kids were at the house and my niece who worships Shane said I had to make two because one had to say WELCOME HOME UNCLE SHANE... We don't have any kids, but we do have 11 nieces and nephews and if you count our God children and our close friends kids that call us aunt and uncle you have to add 12 more to that number...So we made another sign just from the kids and put all thier names on it... I am soo excited! I spent a crap load of money on food just for the get together Friday and that does not include all the food people are brining... we will have enough for a week..lol... Well not much longer now, if I can just get a little sleep between now and Friday morning!! I will be leaving about 5:30 Friday morning, I hope I can go to sleep before 1 or 2:confused: It is hard to fall asleep with so much excitment!! Okay, let me shut my pie hole and just tell you all thank you and I love you all.... 2 days and a wake up!!! WOOO HOOO!!

Hello everyone!!! :D Well, I just have today, tomorrow and then Friday morning I will have him in my arms!!! :D Okay, so I was gonna get us a hotel room for Friday night because my parents are in town and they are staying with me and I really just want to be alone that first night without knowing my parents are on the other side of the house...lol... Anyways, my sister called me last night and said as a gift for Shane's home coming she booked us a suite at the Hilton for Friday!! :eek: WOW, how sweet is that, it has a King size bed, hot tub, champaign, breakfast in bed, all the bells and whistles, including late check out for Sat:D I thought that was so nice of her! She said she was gonna get Shane something, but she thought that we both deserve something since I was there with him every step of the way. :) Anyways, they put a small chance of rain back in the forcast for Friday 30% for showers... please pray it does not rain and it is a nice warm evening because some of those folks are gonna have to be outside of my house...lol... Well, I am gonna stop rambling on and on and just say WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO!!! Tomorrow I will be packing my car to go pick him up! I think I may take Jackie's idea about a sleeping pill Thursday night, I have to leave the house at 5:30ish so I need to get some sleep because of that and because of what all Friday is gonna bring..lol... Hello everyone!!! :D I only have a wake up left now!!! WOOOO HOOOO!!! I did not get to sleep till about 2am this morning and I did not hear my alarm clock till 8am, I was dreaming and when I woke up and saw it was 8, I thought it was Friday and about had a heart attack:eek: lol... This time tomorrow morning he should be out and with me in the car... I talked to a lady in Huntsville yesterday and she said he should be out between 8-9:30am Friday :D :D

My sisters kids are staying with my parents at my house this week since they are out of school on spring break and since my parents are in town. They are 6 and 8 years old... They both worship my husband and have been telling me everymorning how many more days when they wake up.. The little one slept with me last night and she woke up this morning and said "only one more day Kit Kat" :D They are gonna be the happiest girls in the world to get thier uncle Shane back.:p Our oldest niece is 14 and I had a email in my inbox from her this morning that said "ONLY ONE MORE DAY TILL UNCLE SHANE COMES HOME, I CAN'T WAIT" :p My joy is over running, but to see these kids get one of the most important people in thier lives BACK is just overwelming! I really give it to your ladies who do this and have kiddo's of your own, because I am sure it is way harder! God bless you!
