would any one know of any types of incidents occuring at avenal state prison within the month of november/december 2005? My brother is an inmate at this facility, we the family have not heard from him in a while.

If anyone had heard ANYTHING just ANYTHING at all please, please respond.

First of all there is a section under CALIFORNIA for Avenal State Prison, feel free to read those post. I expect this post to get moved to it actually, but wanted to let you know ASAP what I knew.

2nd... nothing major has happened at Avenal with the exception of a lot of the GP's being shuffled around to other buildings and prisons since someone decided to make that prison the place for all SNY people.... so if he isn't SNY then he could be transferred to another facility.
Phones are working, mail is running BUT it is slow right now with the holidays.... so I'm not sure why you haven't heard from him.
Call his counselor and ask if he is still there or call the prison locator line as long as you know his CDDC # or his Social Security number that line can help you ....

It is good to see more fellow Californians on the boards! I don't get as homesick for San Francisco as I used too! Cannot wait to meet all you when I come off of paper in 2008 and run as fast as I can back home!
