I was just wondering who has someone in a TC program. My Casey is supposed to be moving over to SICI to start Team any time. I was just wondering who else has someone going through that. Is it hard? Or if anyone has heard anything. I've heard that it's the toughest program. I would just like to know some of the rules. Just so I can help him get through it. As soon as he finishes that program he can come home. So I want to help him get through 9 months fast.
There are a couple differant TC programs. Off the top of my head I dont know much about most of them. I guess it depends who you ask if its hard or not. I think it also has to do with the person taking the program
The program that I know the most about is the Lifeline program at ICC. My husband as well as a few others I know have taken that program. I have some serious issues with some of how that program is run, but my husband on the other hand will be the first to say it helped him a lot.....

Congratulations to both you and Casey. I graduated from the team program nearly three years ago, and I feel it is a top notch program from which I learned a lot. Be as supportive and patient as possible and remember that change is a process and not an event. The program requires "Aftercare" where Casey will have to attend meetings with other TC Graduates. This provides an excellent support base for his release. The most important thing for Casey is to remain clean and sober upon his release, and nurture relationships with other sober pro-social friends. I wish you the best of luck in your life with Casey...
