Yoosgirl 04-18-2006, 02:13 PM I stayed there this past weekend and everyone was awesome. The house was really nice and the women that I met were great. It was a great experience and I would do it again. The rates have gone up a bit, I paid 15 dollars a night and the van to and from Bath was 22 dollars.
witchlinblue 04-23-2006, 03:06 AM How far away from Bath is it ?
Yoosgirl 04-27-2006, 03:33 PM I think it was about a 15 minute ride. :)
aaronsgirl 04-28-2006, 05:10 PM thats awesome! im glad you had a good trip! how was your visit?
Yoosgirl 05-04-2006, 02:02 PM Going for my second stay at Bridge House this weekend. Can't wait to get there. The most expensive part of the trip is the bus from Peterborough into Kingston (84.00 return, go Friday morning and come back Sunday night) still worth it. While you are staying at Bridge House your man can call and talk as long as you like for a buck. Ya after spending 7 hours together we can still find things to talk about, just because it's a cheap call....lol :D
witchlinblue 05-04-2006, 11:04 PM You have a wonderful visit !!!!!
Michels_wife 06-20-2006, 04:29 PM Hello all, My fiancee is going to camp at Frontenac in October is there anything near the house that a 7 year old could do my daughter has ADHD and having her inside for more then a hour at a time with nothing to do will be insane for her and myself, something close that we could do maybe after visiting hours would be good.....
aaronsgirl 06-21-2006, 11:03 AM hey yoosgirl, i was just wondering how long the bus ride to kingston is and if it takes you directly to the bridge house or just to the terminal. it would be great to be able to go for a weekend visit once in a while, so if you can get back to me, id appreciate it!
Yoosgirl 06-30-2006, 06:32 PM Hi Ash.. sorry that I am late reading your post, I have been busy and not able to get to PTO as often as I would like. The bus leaves Peterborough on Friday morning at 8:30 and gets to Kingston at (get this) 12:15, it's a long ride because the bus stops in all of the small towns along way. The terminal in Kingston is right around the corner from Bridge House. It's a 4 dollar cab ride but if I had a small bag or backpack I would walk it. The women at the house are awesome, I can't tell you what a great experience it was to have stayed there (5 times). They have a van that will take you to KP and pick you up on Sat. and Sun. for full day visits, and after your visit on Sunday the van will also drop you off at the bus terminal for you trip home to Peterborough. I would highly recommend you give them a call and book a weekend to go and see your man..
Keepin6 07-01-2006, 11:25 AM I have also stayer there, and it was excellent! You can even get collect calls there. It's stellar.
aaronsgirl 07-01-2006, 03:33 PM hey thanks for all the info! im definitely going to save some money and try to make it there this summer since i have to re-apply for my visits. once i get approved again i am going to visit for sure!! oh i can hardly wait lol!
aaronsgirl 07-01-2006, 04:12 PM oh, p.s. i was just wondering how expensive it is to get to kingston by bus?
Yoosgirl 07-03-2006, 09:07 AM From Peterborough it's $42 to get to Kingston. Check out Coach Canada's web site for the schedule. Good Luck.
P.S. If I hear of anyone driving that way you could hook-up with I will pm you for sure :)

cloutier michel 11-18-2006, 09:08 PM I my kids and me are waiting for my husband to be transfer to frontenac we woul like to go see him the 8 & 9 december and if he is not transfer will steel go but thrue a window at millhaven, and I would like to g at the Bridge house hope he got is transfer it is sence the 8 of november that he got is classment minimum I AM DRIVING FROM MONTRÉAL and the kids and I did not see him sence he is in millhaven can't wait to see how he is see his smile, and look thrue his eyesé
Will he definitely be transferred to Frontenac instead of Pittsburgh as you had thought before? There's some information on Frontenac in the Prison Profile section which you might want to check. I can understand how excited you and your children must be to see him again:)- let us know how the visit goes!
cloutier michel 11-21-2006, 08:09 PM thanks I will check prison profile, if he will be definitely transferred to frontenac well I hope so but I start getting wory if what I heard is true some people could wait for a transfer a couple of weeks even month, an they told him to be transfer in montréal and having paper done and french would cost at les 2000.00 dollars they make him do the paper in english for transfer in montreal for one of those days that they would have a bus going over their, what I THINK AND WHAT I FEEL IS he will do is full time in ontario and come home then the chance to be transfer is little even has the juge recommend on is jugment to be transfer in montreal because of his kids and wife, and to be serve in is language they have the last world and he is québecois and he did'nt something wrong in ontario and he is going o pay the price that the way I feel must be one of those night that I am done soone 3 month not see him the phone call are so short and only one every 2 days 23 hrs and is cell.only going out 20minutes morning and for the shower, and 20 minutes at night outside if not rinning no tv he is doing is time for sure for a minimum case. ok I guess I feel better letting the bad inside going out sorry I am done, I sorry for my writing I am french so I do my best and thnaks alote reply to me I don't feel alone in the systems. michelle-louise
