hey im carrie i have some questions pertaining to probation violations if anyone thinks they can help pls answer i go to court on jan 10th2006 n im scared to death thank you
is your po supposed to tell you that he violated you? i have been back in touch with him n doing everything i have been supposed to, no dirty urines aa meetings treatment program will that matter? i have other ?s but if any one can help with these i would appreciate it.

I don't think they have to tell you they are violating you. If they did that then lots of folks would run before getting picked up. :eek:

I know in both the federal system, and the Texas state system, there is no requirement for an officer to tell someone that a violation report will be filed. That being said, I don't know that I have ever filed on someone and it was a suprise to them. If you're not doing what you are supposed to, you know it.

You DO have the right to have the allegations of the violation provided to you prior to your revocation hearing.

My husband violated and it took them nearly a month to pick him up.
He went to the po office once a week and they never said a word.
