Does anyone else have a problem with their man getting their mail at Deep Meadows C.C. Not only that but I mailed a card out from my parents to him 4 days after I had sent his and he got theirs within 2 days, but still no sign of any of the ones I had sent him. This isn't the first time, it has been going on the whole time he has been there. Is it like that for everyone else? Or are we just 'special'?

Well... Yesterday I was so feed up with it all, I called and talked to an Investigator about the problem. The lady in the mailroom said they were all caught up and that they weren't holding any of his mail. Now wouldn't you know that after I called and complained, last night my man said he got a pile of mail. Some dated back to the 20th. These people just love to play with people's emotions. I mean, they need some empathy. They shouldn't hold back their Christmas cards. Holidays are hard enough on them as it is. Don't you think? Now if I can just get them to give him his meds... he has been out of those for over a week. But I can't get anyone in medical to answer the dang phone.

Thanks...and believe me... I will keep calling. He knows he can depend on that much from me. I still call DOC every week for a release date.... but none yet.

my hubby is in sussex 1 and the mail has been realy slow it takes a week and half for me to get his and up to two weeks for him to get mine.

it took my hubby 2 weeks to get his xmas card. My family in NY got it the next day. it has been a week and he still hasn't gotten the money order i sent last friday. They also stopped delivering the inmate mail on the wed before xmas and new years. Can you believe that?

Yep I can believe it. Do what I did. Call and tell them you are having a problem. Tell them you want it investigated. Once I did that he got all his mail, 15 some pieces the very same night. Then we had no problems.

My man is at Deep Meadow and it we both get frustrated with the mail. Sometimes we get each others mail the very next day. I had one letter that took 2 weeks for him to get. He said that a bunch of the guys have been complaining about it. So I guess it is just slow mail at deep meadow. It is frustrating though.

the only problem i have with deep meadow mail is him getting his t o late like pictures, money orders, and etc...yes it is exhausting, causeing more stress!!!!!
