He doesn't want me to call and give his name (siad he doesn't want any trouble). I need to do something they are putting alot of prisoners in harms way...Who should I call? hould I call in newspaper or tv station? Advise please!!!Thanks for the support.

I would call both the newspaper and TV...If they aren't gonna take the guy that has TB out of his dorm which i think they should have already...Have you called the prison and voiced your concerns?

Ok everyone,
I just called and spoke to Ms Kerry the warden's secretary. They are in quarantine, but not from TB...it's chickenpox which is in Jason's dorm #7. She said the TB was under control and the reason they offered the Hep shots is because the helth dept.had extra and gave it to them fro the prisoners who wanted it. I have spoken with Ms. kerry before and she seems sincere and it would make sense if the guy has a rash all over...but i do think they need to move him. I find out more tomorrow when Jason call me back and I will keep you all posted.

TB under control at a ALABAMA State prison, i don't think so, TB has been an issue for years on years...chickenpox can be very serious for some of the older inmates, but the Hep shots where also made avail at Bibb, which Kenny declined, they have to give them to you at 3 different times and Kenny just didn't feel SAFE about it....
tell jason to stay away for the sick ones as much as he can, and wash those hands...

Denise,
I'm sure you are right the TB has been a big issue, but she meant that the prisoner was no longer at Ventress. And I told Jason to hide in the corner and not talk to anyone in his cell, I really don't understand why they don't move the guy with the chickenpox, but again there is so much I don't understand with the ADOC...Lord I hope he doens't get sick, he's coming home in 113 days YEAH!!!!!!!
God Bless

An update on chicken pox at Ventress: They are still on lock down and my husband said there are 4 or 5 guys in the dorm with him that have it. He laughed when I asked were they still on lockdown. I take that to mean he doesn't think they are getting off soon. He said something about the health department will have to come in or something and then maybe they will get off.
