You know I am LOL :)

I look forward to it every year! I stock up on Christmas cards, bags and little Christmas gifts for my co -workers for next year at 50% off. I love when they hit 75% off but by that time it is really picked over so I get up bright and early (well still dark actually) and hit the stores the day after Christmas every year.

Any good sales that ya know of? Where will you go (if ya do)?

I'LL be there!! The day after Christmas is the BEST shopping day of the year!!! I get all the co-workers gifts for next Christmas, gifts for several family members, and gifts sets that can be given for all sorts of occassions!I'll be hitting Wal-Mart first thing - think they open at 6 AM, then on to McRae's and anywhere else that strikes my fancy!! Not too much to choose from around here and my Mom had to leave town this afternoon, so I'm on my own (unless my brother decides to go).I just have to keep telling myself that I DO NOT need ANY gift wrap or gift tags - unless I plan on giving thousands of gifts next Christmas!! But, dang! I hate to pass up a good deal!!Can't wait to see what's still on sale in Houston next weekend!!

Awww!! Cali you are just too cute! Isn't bargain hunting fun?? You can't beat 75% off either. Good luck at Bath and Body Works tomorrow. Let us know if you strike gold again. I just got back from the malls, and let me tell you the parking situation was horrific and the shelves were picked dry! Scarey but fun

Cali, our Bath and Body Works was totally empty yesterday! So Good Luck there!

I got some great deals on gifts for next year! Best Day-After-Christmas-Shopping Ever!!

My brother actually got up and went with me - we were at Wal-Mart at 6 when they opened! He even got 2 gifts for next Christmas - and he's the reason we are always out on Christmas Eve!

At McRae's (in process of converting to Belk) they didn't have much Christmas to start with, but what they had was 70% off and if you shopped before noon and charged it you got an extra 10% off - listen to this! I got a Christmas quilt for my Mom's bed and two shams - they thought about it and decided to go back and get one for myself and my SIL (got the last two!) - here is the deal I got:

Quilts - regular price $70 each ($210) paid $18.90 each total $56.70
Shams- regular price $30 each ($60) paid $ 8.10 each total $16.20

Would have cost $270 BEFORE Christmas - I got them for 72.90! Saving $197.10!!

I also got my older brother TWO Dept 56 houses - he has a ton of them - and I managed to find two that he doesn't have in the series he collects at 50% OFF! They NEVER discount Dept. 56! Regular price for both would have been $125 - got them both for $62.50! Less than the cost of one alone!!

I got something for myself too - something that I've been looking at every singel Christmas for a few years! I've got a room that is decorated with carousel horses (it's a thing around our town) and there is a pretty good sized one (Mr. Christmas) that I've been wanting, but didn't want to spend that much on myself for something so useless. It's regular $99! Kirkland's had it marked down to $70 on Christmas Eve and only had one left. I decided to check it out and see if it was still there the day after and IF it was marked down further. It WAS - on both counts!!! I got it for around $30!!!

Best Day-After-Christmas-Shopping EVER!!!

I'm sure I'll hit them all again and again this week!! And I'll be in Houston this weekend.......wonder what's left down there and how much it'll be marked down by the weekend????????? hhhhhmmmmmmmm.............

I went to Target yesterday for new Christmas Tree Ornaments!!!!! The crowd wasn't to bad, I got there at 9:45! I wanted gold and red ornaments for next year to replace cream, clear and gold ones I have had forever! I got them at 50% off, I call it the two for one deal, sounds even better! I did good! I got some really pretty ones..............................then I headed over to the Toddler section.......................and he already had gotten so many clothes but I found an awesome pair of pants for 5.99!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the cutest little sweater to match! The whole store was on sale, I would have loved to dive into the towels section but the little guy was getting antsy, so I left!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today if course I have HUGE buyers regret!

Woo Hoo I want to go again for more stuff I don't need LOL

LOL! I had to work at the bar last night, but I'm sure I'll be hitting Wal-Mart again tonight to see what's left!!

I went to Hudson's Treasure Hunt (they buy out stock from stores that have been damaged by fire, flood, tornado, etc) yesterday at lunch and got some wrapping paper - 6 rolls for a total of $1.00!! And I DON'T NEED wrapping paper, but I couldn't pass up that deal!

They had craft things 90% off too - not much left to pick from, but I got several cross stitch books and kits. I got 4 kits that regular prices ranged from $17 - $23. I even found some Christmas cards for 60 cents, 15 cents, and 39 cents for next year! I spend a total of $16 - regular price would have been over $100!

Can't wait to see what's still left to buy in Houston!!!
