I went to see Stephen last weekend and I was real nervous. Sice I was driving some distance I was so scared they would turn me away for SOMETHING! But it was actually a real nice visit. The guards seemed pretty decent and the lady at the reception desk said that she would try and get his contact visit priviliges moved up since we have 5 kids and all..which was nice of her even if nothing comes of it. I had expected to be frisked and searched but there wasnt any of that. The biggest deal that was made was when you drove on or off the property they checked under your car hood. Guess they were all in a good mood-joking and laughing with my mother and me. So, I just wanted to let you all know about my first experience visiting the Texas prison system. Let's hope it is this nice all of the time!!!

that was nice of her to do that for you.The visits were my husband is suck he can't get up at all onely to go the bathroom and for the pictures that's it!!!!!!!!

I am glad to hear that you had such a good experience with visiting!! Kind of gives you some hope that he is being treated ok, doesn't it?? I am glad to finally got to see Stephen too!! :) I am sure it was great just to see him again!!

GLAD TO HEAR EVERYTHING WENT SO GOOD- I CAN ONLY HOPE MY VISIT GOES AS SMOOTHLY. STUPID QUESTION- BUT WHY DO THEY CHECK UNDER THE HOOD-? DRUGS, BOMBS, OR MAYBE YOU HAVE SOMEONE HIDING UNDER IT?

MOST VISITS ARE GOOD.... IT'S JUST ON OCCASION THAT YOU RUN IN TO THE REGULAR BUTT WHO WANTS TO GIVE YOU A PROBLEM..
