I am awaiting my sentencing in late January and I'm relatively sure that it will be for a year or less. I am not sure which facility I will be staying at but I was just wondering if anyone had some general knowledge of what there is to do during the day in prison. I am an athelete and I want to stay in shape and I was wondering if there would be weights to lift? If not any physical/recreational activities that are available?

If you will be sentenced with 12 months or less you will more than likely stay at the local jail in the county you are sentenced. Some jails have weights to lift. There are classes to take to earn you good time. Usually there is a library, basketball court, most have tv's. Some of which you might have to purchase yourself. I'm sure there will be others to give you more info. All jails are different, depends on the one you are sentenced to. Good Luck and keep the faith.

Depends Where You Go. If Less Then A Year, You Will Probably Be In A Jail, There Is No Weights There I Dont Think. In Prisons However They Have A Weight Pile, And Inside Weights As Well.
