Melisa-
Im glad to hear you got your designation sorted out. Sorry if the info I posted before sent you a curve, since I guessed wrong. Anyway, I don't know anything about FPC Bryan, other than it is a minimum security camp for women about 95 miles north of Houston. If you do a search of the forums, you should hopefully find more info, or see who knows more, and send PMs to those people.
I know you feel scared, but please try to relax if you can. Being in an FPC is nothing like the prison experience you see on TV or in the movies. Many of us here on the federal forum have done time in FPC's and we all say the same things- it's not bad; it's not violent; it's not fun but bearable. As long as you stay "under radar," get a routine and stick with it, and try to relax, you will be fine. Four months will kinda drag on, but it will also be over before you know it.
I don't want to generalize all experiences by telling mine (I know I tend to do this sometimes), but (here goes) the 5 months I spent in a men's camp were fine. The hardest part was just missing home. The other men at the camp were decent people, for the most part, and the one's that weren't were kept in check by the overall atmosphere of respect. There was a lot of hanging out, talking and joking, playing sports, and watching TV. This may sound weird, but after almost 2 years of stress with the case, my 5 months at the camp was almost relaxing. Just a thought.
