Nobody who is currently serving time, of course. And the Prez seems to really favor those moonshiners and tax evaders. Zelda

Three moonshiners and a bank robber are among those to be absolved this year, along with a Denver attorney with Republican political ties.

During his 8 years in office President Clinton pardoned almost 700. For some insight into the process of Presidential Pardons check out these pages:

Does anyone know if/how to reduce a Fed felony conviction to a misdemeanor or where one can research such a thing (without contributing tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars to the "Right" people?

Further to my question: Calif law provides for EXPUNGEMENT of a criminal conviction altogether or redudce a felony conviction to a misdemeanor conviction (later, one can request the misdemeanor be expunged altogether. Is there some equivalent in Fed law and/or procedure?
