CMC LAdies have any of you sent your loved one money through Western Union? I noticed this on PTO front page and was going to try it if CMC allows it. Anyone know anything?

I don't think CMC allows it to go through Western Union...Again I can be wrong but I thought it was money order through the mail only?:confused:

I believe that CMC doesnt allow that only Money Orders or Personal Checks, I say Postal Money Order is better, because I have had even those lost! And you dont want your check lost!

Never tried it...I only do money orders. Let's us know when you find out!

I do money orders too, but if he needs it quickly just "overnight" it.

Yes you can do personal checks but it takes longer for them to get the money. Postal money orders are faster and actually easier.

I called awhile back and they told me that they don't to western union......money orders are the way to go

Oh no...I'm cool off sending the prison a personal check. The last thing I want them to have is my bank account number! I agree....postal money order is the way to go!

Yes Lisa, they do take them but like said, its best to send the money order, because they lost one of my checks before, I had to go crazy on them!
