OK, so I will go in chronological order of my strage but awsome day. I almost got in an accident earlier (it would have been my fault) because I didn't even see a car (I think it was in my only front blind spot). It would have been very serious, and it would have hit me straight on the drivers side, but because I didn't go straight on the gas, it just missed me. Yay, no death for me today.
I had my Sociology final today, and on the way to certain doom (I had to get an 88 to get an A in the class, and I didn't study as much as I needed to), I started talking to God, "OK God, this isn't too important, and I know I am going to bomb this test, but it would be really great if somehow I got an A in the class. I know it isn't a big thing on your to do list, but it would be great if I could somehow really get the grade," so I take the test, and I bomb it just like I knew I would. My professor today decided to grade the test right away in front of us, so we would know our grades right away, so when I take it up to him, I tell him that I need an 88 to get an A. I see him marking up my test, and he tells me, "Somer, I know you are a really great student, and you are a single mom right now (I make sure to call him when I will be absent, and I talk to him sometimes about Minerva and Chris because he is criminology chair as well as the sociology chair), and I know you are working really hard here. I want you to promise me something, I want you to promise me you are going to finish school and help out someone else when you have the chance one day." I was like. "of course (all of that is the plan too, so it is an easy promise for me)". He gave me an A in the class, WHOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO. I worked so hard, and it is great to see that all my hard work is paying off.
The last strange but awsome thing that happened was that I went to sell back my sociology book to the bood store, and she told me that they were only giving $1.00 for it right now. I told them, "no thanks and that I would sell it on the internet next month for $75 because that is what is worth", so I asked them, "could I have any of the books that other students left," because the school didn't need them, and they said yes. I asked, "Are you sure? Because I will be making a profit off them." She said, "Just take them, I don't mind." I priced them all out, and next month, I will be able to sell the 5 books for about $200, and that is really great because I am really hurting right now.
See, I told you it was a strange but GREAT DAY. I am so glad God decided to take it easy on me today lol.
