This is part of a 5 page letter Richard sent me. He claims the DOC knew about his lawsuit he had been working on to file against them. He had to mail it out to meet deadline.
They made up some bogus right up to ship him off to the hole so he could not file the law case. He beat them by just 4 hours. The appeal and suit is hitting th courts right about now. Although Richard is locked up. One CO told him he could hang a towel over the east window so he could sleep during the day since he worked nights.
Another CO came in and wrote him up for it. 30 days in the hole for a towel in the window.
Here is just a small part of his letter.
Coming in the segregation Unit-when they packed me from A south they had me put on shower shoes no socks- I brought my glasses and my New World Bible, address book, and 5 stamps. Coming in they had me bend over and spread -show them nuts and inside mouth- then gave me an orange pants and pulled over smock orange - put my hand in hole in door -cuffed and escorted by two guards at all times holding both elbows- cuffed with two guards holding elbows you think -it cannot get out of hand- But it does now and again so I guess it is safe to say- Im a threat or at least they treat me like Hannibal Lector at times. Recall here an inmate got pissed off and came out stabbing a guard with his make shift steel piece he managed to obscured - sharpened on concrete floor -he came out stabbing one guard - another guard came to help - he got his throat cut and bled out- died. - inmate continued scabbing ib the first guard - stabbed him 16 times . The article I read stated emotional damages, physical pain complications from stab wounds and traumatized permanent disability, I wonder if he ever thought - emotional damages , physical pain, complications from wounds- trauma i.e. Perm. Disabilities - he was inflicting on inmate day after day 24-7 before inmate ‘couldn't take it any more' Nobody ever thinks about that part They say - you can't keep kicking a dog in the teeth, Everybody realizes humans can be meaner than dogs.
Well lunch finally came. It's a 8x10 " plastic coffee no milk- inside a small splat of oatmeal , small piece of ham, and 2 french toast. I waited all morning for that and it took almost 200 seconds to eat it with manners. That's how they get to us here.—Starve us down -Repression.
Keep us hungry- that way we'll hibernate from one meal to the next . That's how to beat hunger pains -sleep-go to- sleep and wake up when food cart is here again. This is the hole. I've been many times, I did 52 days at OSR in cell with no lights , no heat, no shoes, broken window facing north east. After they took my clothes and shoes they gave me 2 sheets and 1 blanket and 30 mph north east winds blew directly in my cell. It snowed 2" that weekend. I spent Thanksgiving, Christmas and News Years in the hole. Not guilty of what they said I did. I reversed ˝ the MCR they issued. The snow storm, Dark weekend , no heat, no shoes or clothes I reversed the charges.......................
